ONLY $89 (guests add $20) for rafting on the Olympic's Ocoee River at one of the most beautiful times of the year in the mountains. It's a lot
of excitement for the money, 2 hours of non-stop action, catered dinner, keg, fireside fun and mini cabin sleepover.
Novice whitewater adventurers need not worry. The 8 man rafts used provide adequate
"coziness" to rely on the expertise of the more experienced and you should have
a great time on the trip. We will arrive Saturday at 1:00 PM and ride the river
at 1:30 PM. Dinner will be provided with dessert. Keg. wine
and refreshments will last into the night as we sit by our bonfire under the stars in the crisp cool mountain air for a little
club camaraderie. The mini cabins are cozy rooms with multi built-in bunks have great natural ventilation to let in the cool evening mountain air, are clean and neat (hot showers are provided,
too) and far enough from the activities to provide a good night's sleep when
you're ready. We'll head for a lunch/breakfast spot in the morning before heading
home to Atlanta. Carpooling will be arranged at our gathering spot 10:30 AM
Saturday. Carpool information will be sent later.
