Fall in the great outdoors at its best! It's like a mountain lodge trip. Plus we'll be there in the middle of the Helen Oktoberfest celebration with the great German entertainment and beerhalls, dancing, food and more. It's always a great time.

We'll be staying at the beautiful Unicoi State Park group site at a new site designed for groups. A small cluster of enclosed and heated cabins with built-in wood bunk beds (really nice), a central campfire area, , a stream, a social/kitchen cabin for cards, meals or whatever, plus our own restrooms with showers. No tents are necessary! Just pack sleeping gear (either sleeping bags or linens and pillow) and you're all set. The way everything is set up noise is not a problem for our sleeping or anybody around us. It's great!

Activities for the weekend will include a day hike on one of the many trails in the area, evening campfire parties, the nearby Helen shops, Oktoberfest activities, taverns and restaurants and a great cookout dinner, complete with wassail around the fire Saturday night.

The amazing cost is only $69 (NON-members add $20) for everything including 2 nights accommodations, snacks, soft drinks, basically all food including 2 continental breakfasts, self serve sandwich fixin's for Saturday lunch, and a Special Dinner Saturday night. 2 Kegs as long as they last. The cabins accommodate 10-12 each (dorm style - bring appropriate sleeping attire).

Plan on leaving Friday evening for a short 1-1/2 hour drive (Sat morning arrival is the same price) to arrive in plenty of time for a full evening's fun. Maps will be mailed to you. Cabins will be filled first come first served upon your arrival.
