Universal and New Line Cinema have agreed to bring the legendary horror film series,
Friday the 13th, "Nightmare on Elm Street" and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre to Universal's Halloween Horror Nights.

Universal's legendary Halloween events have been horrifying guests for 17 years.
Jason, Freddy Krueger and Leatherface have haunted horror fans and phobes alike for more than 25 years.
This year - for the first time ever -- they come together to create the most extreme Halloween Horror Nights event in history.

Now in its 17th year, Halloween Horror Nights was Amusement Today’s 2006 Golden Ticket Award winner
for Best Halloween Event, annually drawing hundreds of thousands of horror fans from around the globe.

This year’s event promises to break new ground with all new frights and entertainment,
and immersive thrills never before imagined. It’ll be the greatest exhibition of pure terror ever unleashed anywhere,
and you can experience it all, LIVE, only at Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights.

REVIEW BY KAREN AND JOHN - We have enjoyed this attraction twice. It is probably the most unique theme park experience ever, 5.5 hours of non-stop entertainment offered no where else. All the theatrical and technical expertise of the world's most famous and experienced horror film maker brings an experience unlike any other you have ever encountered. This is NOT a kiddy park. It is designed for REAL FRIGHT. In fact, children are rarely seen and highly discouraged. The 8 huge horror houses, some in actual film studios, with hundreds of live actors are a fantastic experience not to be confused with local Atlanta productions. Don't get me wrong, the locals do a fine job, but no one can compete with what a major film studio can produce with all their financial and professional resources. This is an evening event lasting from 7 PM to 2 Am. The park is cleared at 5 PM and converted to an enormous out door halloween experience. Popcorn, hot dog and candy cotton stands are converted to bars with frozen and mixed drinks plus beer. Everywhere you look are professionally costumed actors and events in the spirit of the theme. In between the horror houses are many of their premium rides and roller coasters to amuse, plus stage events. YOU MUST GET THE VIP EXPRESS PASS. We will not accept any reservations without this. The lines have been know to be as long as 4 hours PER HORROR HOUSE or ride. With the pass you use a separate entrance and walk right in. The passes are limited and actually are now ONLY available for Sunday night.

WHAT ELSE TO DO WHILE THERE......

If you leave early enough Saturday morning, you can take in additional parks such as Disney and Sea World.... but by night.. it's a whole different place for adults... Adults? You think I am kidding? Let's look at Orlando with an adult twist... Let's go for the nightlife, the clubs, the ambience.. concepts that could only come from the minds of Disney or a Motion Picture Studio like Universal.

Anyone who thinks that the Walt Disney World Resort is not for adults has never been to Downtown Disney Pleasure Island. Music fills the air, videos rock the screens and there's an incredible choice of clubs. You can dance, laugh and even shop the night away. 8 Trax – Boogie oogie oogie to this '70s and '80s club for all your retro dancing favorites. If you love to get down to the Bee Gees, Donna Summer and the Village People, keep on truckin' over to 8 Trax.

Adventurers Club – Take an expedition into the past in this audience-participation comedy club for tall tales of explorers' adventures. Get into the fun of it and shout the rallying cry: Kungaloosh!

BET Soundstage™ Club – Bust a move on over to this two-story soundstage environment and head on down to the dance floor. The DJ spins phat tunes from the latest hip hop to old school R&B favorites. Get your groove on!

Mannequins Dance Palace – Go for a spin at this pulsing, flashing, energizing dance club. The huge floor actually rotates as you gyrate to booming sounds of techno trance tunes. It's a dance revolution!
