Here's a great trip for a January weekend. Gatlinburg is a Ski Resort with plenty of great night and day ski activities (if cool enough, as usual in Jan, they can cover 100% of their ski trails in man made snow), exciting alpine slide (it's like a 1600 ft single person toboggan ride), free fall indoor skydiving, specialty theaters, musical theaters, super restaurants, fabulous scenery, fantastic outlet shopping, quality art shops and lots more. We'll be staying in the heart of town within walking distance of lots of great things to do plus we'll only be minutes from all the evening events. NIGHT SKING is available and there is a SPECIAL OFFER for groups Saturday night that you must RESERVE FOR by MID NOVEMBER. It is a $37.50 package including the tram, lift tickets from 5 to 10PM, all your gear rentals, and lessons if you wish. It saves nearly 50%. We'll leave early Saturday morning, traveling through the Smokies to be in Gatlinburg by mid-morning for our welcome party, in plenty of time to hit the slopes of OberGatlinburg, the shops or whatever you like. We're not organizing anything beyond the room and a couple of parties because there's so many different things to do that people might prefer over what we plan. There will be so many group activities to choose from. I know I'm up for the night skiing special with the lessons, then hit some of the local nitespots. Others may go to the Dixie Stampede Dinner Show or one of the Music Headliner concert theaters. Sunday we'll probably invade the hundreds of outlet shops before heading back. Don't miss it. Reserve early - Limit 30.
