MORE NITECLUBS AND FUN THAN EVER BEFORE
We'll be right next door to the party at Schooners, billed as “The Last Local Beach Club”. Schooners is open 7 days a week from 11 AM till the wee, wee hours of the night with dancing to live bands playing all your favorites from Buffet to Motown, Beach and Rock. The beer is ice cold, the pace is kicked back. There are waverunners, sailboats and sandcastles... and always a volleyball game on the beach. The band cranks up early every afternoon, so the dance floor is crowded before the sun sets, and it stays that way til 2 or 3 in the morning. They've been blasting off the cannon at Schooners every sunset for as many years as folks around there care to remember. The crowds roar in unison "10, 9, 8, 7…" counting down to the precise moment that the sun dips below the horizon and the old cannon roars. It's the beach's official signal that one more beautiful day has ended, and the real fun is just beginning! All this without setting foot in your car. So for those of you who might indulge a little more than intended, no one should have to volunteer to be the designated driver or keeper of the local taxi company's phone number… perhaps you can be the designated WALKER. BUT.... if the ultimate wild niteclub fantasy is your preference, only 3 miles further down the beach is the world famous enormous Club La Vela, the largest niteclub in the US ! For those of you who may have glimpsed this place on MTV, you know that it has 14 dance floors, 3 stages and 10 different themed bars with different music and even it's own pool in the center of the bar! Next door to that is another massive niteclub, Spinnakers Beach Club. And 1.5 miles the other way is the Bayside Boatyard Restaurant and Niteclub with their house band Overboard playing everything you like, for even more live dancing and fun. Whew, too much... so much to do and so little time.

FREE WELCOME PARTY
Our Late Friday Night "mixer" FREE Welcome Party will be held in the Beautiful Private Party Room and, of course,
there will be our Club specialty frozen libations and all the usual club extras
you have grown to love.
SUNSET CANNON PARTY
Soon to be another traditional Saturday night event, we'll all meet to join in with a "Key West" style sunset celebration.
They've been blasting off the cannon at Schooners every sunset for as many years as folks around there care to remember.
The crowds roar in unison "10, 9, 8, 7…" counting down to the precise moment that the sun dips below the horizon
and with a tremendous BLAST the Schooners cannon celebrates another great day on Panama City Beach… and the party kicks into overdrive!
They call Schooners, "The Last Local Beach Club," and it really is the last of the old open-air hangouts left on the Gulf Coast.
Sunset at Schooners… the band is in full swing, the crazy locals are on the dance floor, there's volleyball on the beach,
........the Schooners Sunset Celebration and the Adventure Club!

carpool, indicate preference as a driver (how many you can take) or passenger
and what time to leave and where. 80% leave early Friday AM, that is your
BEST BET to plan to leave if you cannot drive yourself.

... BUS vs CARPOOL
Over 18 years of these trips we have found more and more people have come to prefer carpooling over a bus for many reasons...
Carpooling is more flexible, comfortable, quicker, and much cheaper, too. Our proven carpool system is very efficient in matching drivers and passengers and makes it simple for all to join forces to cut travel costs. Everything is very near our resort and all those with cars are gracious
in helping others to get around plus taxis are cheap and plentiful since distances are usually less than 2 miles. Additionally, bus costs have grown prohibitive with the new gas prices, to $80-$100 per person for even the oldest buses. This has become too costly for most and the only way to charge less would be to subsidize the cost by charging everyone more, whether they use the bus or not, or cutting popular features of the trip for everyone. We feel it is more important to maintain the quality of the trip with the features that everyone loves so much, and keep the trip costs down to allow more members to join their friends for this fun holiday weekend.
DEPOSITS are $75 per person.
Earliest Paid Reservations are Most likely to get their Preferred Space.
